PB & B Toast

(Peanut Butter & Banana Toast with Walnuts & Honey)

I rely on this, primarily for the kiddos, when I am low on time or it’s been a minute since I’ve been to the grocery store. Nonetheless, this never disappoints. It is just the right amount of sweetness, without it feeling like you are fully endulging in a dessert for dinner! I would not suggest this become a weekly staple, but every once in a while, it definitely comes in clutch.

Ingredients
BaseMadison Sourdough Bread
ProteinPeanut Butter
ToppingsBanana (sliced)
Walnuts (chopped to preference)
Honey
Directions
Lightly toast the slices of bread. My personal preference is to toast it only lightly so it’s warmed; I do not want the toast hard.

Slather on a healthy amount of peanut butter. Top the peanut butter with one layer of the sliced bananas. Sprinkle on the walnuts. Last, but not least, drizzle on a touch of honey.
